o [Pbe Pbesq Association.] DUNUDIN, Sept. 14. The capping ceremony having been abolished, the Students' .Association arranged with the Otago University authorities to hold a function, and thio came off to-night in the Library. Mr Justice Williams presided, and after referring to the death of Ur Stuart those estitled to diplomas were presented with them and signed their names ia the book. Hi3 Honor, then delivered a congratulatory address, which was replied to. Hnlf-hour concerts were then held in different parts of the building, the final one cymprisiajjall tlje extents' eo-ugs.
