[Per Pbsbs Association.! ELLERSLIE RACECOURSE, Sept. 15. The weather is fine overhead for the Auckland Racing Club's first spring meeting, but the course is very heavy and sloppy from recent rains. The following are the results :— TEIAL HANDICAP, seven, furlongs. Lady Marion , 1 Anniversary;' 2 The Sharper 3 Time— lmin 42sec. Dividends, £2 10s and £3. HANDICAP HUBDIiE BACE, of 55sovs. One mile and three quarters. Belmonfe .., 1 Skittles 2 Fishmonger 3 Dorry also started. Won by a length and a half. Time— Smin sSsec. Dividends— Jßl 10b and £1 12s. BPBING HANDICAP, of 110 sovs. One mile and a quarter. Lottie ... ... „, 1 Pogasus , ... , ... 2 Haritt ... ■•■ .it ... S.Abel and Grenadier also ran. Won easily. Time — 2min 34sec. Pividendß—Jß2 16s and £3.
