Walker pre -on ted a petition from sheep-f aimers and o bers in South Canterbury, in favour of the M'JCouzie County Bill. DESTITUTE PEBSONS. The amendments of the Houae in the Destitute Persons Bill wsre agreed to. NOTICE. The Hon C. C. Bowen gave notice to ask when contracts for advertisements on the Government telegraph forms will terminate. The Council adjourned till next day.
