The weather was threatening this morning, and a few light- showers fell, whioh, no doubt, adversely affected the attendance for the second day of the Napier Park Racing Club's Autumn Meeting. The racing was good, and the starting of Mr Gilpin on both days was excellent. Griffiths, who rode one of the horses in the Hurry Scurry Race, waß kicked, and had a small bone broken and a large gash .made in one of his legs, but he went on and finished fouilh. The amount passed through the totalisator was £4511.
