Addingtcn Yards to-day, and business in j the leading departments was very drag--1 Fat Cattle.— The Bupply was below the average, but ample for requirements. 1 Previous values were maintained with diffi--1 cnlty throughout a dragging tale. 1 Store Cattle.— A moderate entry met 1 rather slow competition, but last week's [ rates were well maintained, and in some instances slightly exceeded. Dairy stock 1 brought late rates. | Fat Sheep.— The sale began late in the 1 day with a series of pens of prime quality | crose-breds, which brought last week's ' prices under a slack demand. When ! secondary and inferior mutton was reaohed : a decline in value was apparent, and a fall ' in these descriptions before the close of : the sale is inevitable. Fat Lambs.— A superabundant supply was eyed askance by buyers, and an all- [ round fall had to be submitted to. For prime quality, of which the lepresentation was small, the reduction did not exceed 6d, but for second-rate and half-fat lambs, which constituted the balk of the entry, there was a difficult Bale at Is reduction. Stobe Sheep and Lambs.— There was a fair entry, but, in the absence of buyers, business was not satisfactory, and any line of indifferent quality could only be quitted at a concession in price.
