RICHMOND AMATEUR SWIMMING CLUB.

A meeting of the Committee of the Bichmond Amateur Swimming Club was held on Saturday evening; present— Mr F. J. Craddock (Captain in the chair) and Messrs W. Bassett, H. Craddock, C. P. Bradford, F. Ward, C. J. Styche (Hon Treasurer) and G. Milne Hon Seoretary. It was decided to comply with the Christchurch Amateur Swimming Club's request to play a pclo match at its carnival on Saturday next. Messrs Marsack and E. Brown and five ladies were elected members. It was resolved to alter the date of the 50yds "Handicap from Friday, Deo. 15, to Thursday, Dec, 14. It was resolved that the Club should give its support to the inter-Club Carnival on the Estuary on Feb. 3, and should assist in every way to make it a success. The Secretary reported the hours during which the Bath Committee had decided to allow ladies to use the bath. _____«____■
