Hagley Pack v. Papanui.— The Hagley Park beat a team of Papanui by 72 runs on the first inninge. J. Forsyth 31, A'Conrb 21, and Petrie' 11, scored best for the winners, and Jesscm with 10 did best for Papanui. Lennie and A'Court bowled well for the Hagley Park team. A match between the Ashburton and Geraldine Cricket Clubs was played at the Ashburton Domain on Thursday, and resulted in a win for Geraldine by five wickets. Following are the scores : — Geraldine, firßt innings, 74 ; second innings, 44 for five wickets ; total, 118. Ashburton, first innings, 50 ; second innings, 65 ; total, 115.
