In the North Association's matches on Saturday, Amberley defeated Ohoka by an innings and 7 runs; Ohoka made 18 and 16, and Amberley 41, Boss scoring 29 not out. Adams took seven wickets for 12 runs, Baird. three for 6, Fitzhenry five for 13, and Banks three for 2. For Ohoka, M'Gregor took six for 11, and Blake three for 28. Tbe match between the Ashley County thirteen and the Woodend thirteen resulted in a win for the latter, the game being decided on the first innings.' Woodend made 115, the highest scorers being Mathias 46, W. Urn 17, J. Judsonl2. The County scored 34 (D. Banks 15), and following on made 111, Allan scoring 35, C. d'Auvergne 27 not out, and Bailey 24. For the County D. Banks took five wickets for 22, and Kenyon two for 15 ; for Woodend Urn and A. Judson bowled best.
