__. In Chambers. THIS DAY. (Before his Honor Mr Justice Denniston.) NEW BRIGHTON TRAMWAY COMPANY. In the matter, of the New Brighton Tramway Company v. .Knight and othera, Mr Caygill had a motion on a return to summons of Sept. 25 for a commiesion of examination. Mr Weston, for the plaintiff Company, said that Mr Caygill had served, him with notice that he did not intend to prosecute the commission. His Honor allowed the plaintiff _£lls costs, together with disbursements. • Mr Weston moved for a special jury of four. His Honor granted the application and fixed the hearing for, Oct. 11. A licensing CASE. In the matter of C. F. Money, licensee of the Southern Cross Hotel, Mr Fiaher obtained leave to have the documents printed returning to summons of Sept. 27. ' Hia Honor remarked that the punctuation stops should be inserted in full.. O'BRIEN V. BOYLE AND. OTHERS. Mr Fisher, for defendants, applied in the matter of O'Brien v. Boyle and others, for fees to be fixed.. His Honor fixed the amount at. £10 10s. PROBATE, ETC. His Honor granted probate of, tho will of William Graham (Mr Hall). His Honor granted letters of administration of the estate of W. J. Hanna (Mr Helmore), to the father of deceased, and dispensed *__{.___ .sureties. His Honor ako granted letters of administration of the eatate of Eebecca Andrews (Mr Swarm). [Per Presb Association.] NAPIEE, Sept. 29. The Supreme Court has been engaged for the last three days in hearing the case of P. A. Herman v. E. P. Joyce, of Gisborne. The action is brought to enforce a contract alleged to have been entered into between the partieß regarding ihe purchase of the Carlton Hotel, Hastings, for £4800. The evidence so far is very contradictory.
