In the matter, of the New Brighton Tramway Company v. .Knight and othera, Mr Caygill had a motion on a return to summons of Sept. 25 for a commiesion of examination. Mr Weston, for the plaintiff Company, said that Mr Caygill had served, him with notice that he did not intend to prosecute the commission. A licensing CASE. In the matter of C. F. Money, licensee of the Southern Cross Hotel, Mr Fiaher obtained leave to have the documents printed returning to summons of Sept. 27. The Supreme Court has been engaged for the last three days in hearing the case of P. A. Herman v. E. P. Joyce, of Gisborne. The action is brought to enforce a contract alleged to have been entered into between the partieß regarding ihe purchase of the Carlton Hotel, Hastings, for £4800. The evidence so far is very contradictory.
