THE TRIAL MATCH.
The trial game on Saturday resulted in the defeat of the probables by seven point3 to two. In the first spell O'Brien scored a try for the colours, and in the second Lee got over, Lang converting. The play all through was fast and in favour of the Colours, although in fairness to the Reds it Bhould be mentioned that White was unavoidably absent from their ranks.
