THIS DAY. (Before His Honor Mr Jostioe Denniston.) BE F. W. DBIiAMAIH. Mr Eussell applied for the bankrupt's discharge. His Honor said that he noticed thai certain creditors had not proved, and that the time within which creditors were entitled to prove had not expired. Under these circumstances he would let the matter stand over in order to allow him I time to look into it. The bankrupt need not attend again, as there was no other reason for withholding the discharge, and the matter might be mentioned at next bankruptcy sitting. BE BAMUEL STEWART. Mr Stringer, for Mr Fisher, applied, under Section 15 of the Act of 1884, for an order vesting in trustees certain leasehold property in this estate. ; The Official Assignee did not oppose and the application was granted. j . BE WILLIAM MABDON. ! Mr Bruges moved for leave to allow the proof of claim of John Horler. :Mr j Stringer appeared on behalf of the Official . Assignee to oppO3e. The claim was for i £QOO damages; alleged to have been susI tained by the applicant, who had leased certain premises and flax-dre3sing machinery at Riccarton to the bankrupt on . an agreement which provided that the : latter should insure it. The bankrupt had neglected to insure, and the premises had : been destroyed by fire. "The Official I Assignee had disallowed the claim on the ground that the evidence showed that the , claim was excessive, and that no particulars 1 had been given. After hearing a quantity of evidence his , Honor allowed proof of claim for iBIOO. j .
