The Wairarapa Amateur Athletic and Cycling Clubs had wet weather for their ; inaugural meeting, wbich was attended by | about one thousand persons on the Oval to-day. A. __. Darcy won the final of the 100 yds from scratch in lOsec, and the 220 yds from scratch in 24£ sec. N. L. Gurr won the Ladieß* Bracelet (440 yds) Handicap easily in 54a..c. Gurr and Darcy met in the 2Soydß Championship, and the latter won by two yarda in 27aec.
