The following are the results of the principal events decided on the first day's racing ofi the Egmont Racing Club's Autumn Meeting :— First Handicap Hurdle fiace, of 100 soys; two miles and a distance —Tattler 9at, 1 ; Marechal Neil lOat 21b, 2; Gladius lOst 121 b, 3. Three other horseß started. Whalebone fell, and Tattler won comfortably. Time — 4min 3Oaeo. Dividend, £17 11s. Egmont Handicap, of 300 soys ; two miles — Sfc Katberine 7st 61b, 1 ; Eoaefeldfc 7at 131 b, 2 ; Musket 7st, 3. Boulanger Bst 131 b, Morion Bat 31b and Durus 6st 71b also started. A grand race. Won by a length. Time— smia44rj3ec. Dividend, £6 17s. First Handicap Hack Hurdle Bace, of 35 soys ; one mile and a quarter — Union Jack 1, Cingalese 2, Respond 3. This race was run twice owing to a mistake made at the starting po3fc. Time — 2min 34sec. Dividend, £& 12s. Eve walked over for the Sapling Stakeß of 60 soys, Bix furlongs. i First Handicap Hack Race, of 40 soys ; one mile — Mutiny 1, Thunderbolt 2, War Cry 3.
