[Per Press Association.! GREY MOUTH, Nov. 27. There was very heavy rain last night, but it is fine now. On Saturday afternoon heavy rain, accompanied by thunder, was experienced in the northern district. Between one and two o'clock a waterspout waß observed in the clouds apparently over Rangiora, and immediately after there was quite a tropical downpour for a short time.
