CANTERBURY TROTTING CLUB.
At a meeting of the Committee of the Canterbury Trotting Club, held at the Al Hotel on Monday evening, the following paid oflicials were appointed for the year : — Secretary, Mr A. I. Eattray; Starter, Mr H. J. Derrett; Clerk of the Course, Mr W. E. March ; Clerk of tbo Scales, Mr J. Kerr. Mr H. P. Eeese was elected a member of the Committee in place of Mr T. Marr resigned, and Messrs Tonka, Walker and Marsh were elected as a Ground Committee for the ensuing year.
