[Peb PrkßS Association.! WELLINGTON, Feb. 4. The owner of Eros and Paramo, a wellknown sportsman, has leased a property at the Taita, Lower Hutt, comprising about twenty-five acres of land, which will probably be converted into a private training establishment and racing stud. CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB. Owners are reminded that nominations for the C.J.C. Great Easter Handicap and Great Autumn Handicap close to-night. A further payment for the Champagne Stakes must likewise be made to-night. The first forfeit of three guineas for the foals of 1890, engaged in the Challenge Stakeß, 1893, will be payable at the C.J.C rooms to-day. At the same time nominations of foals of 1891, for the Challenge Stakes of 1894 will be received.
