The Temperance Conference
["Pas Pbxsb Association.] DUNEDIN, Jan. 15. At the Temperance Conference to-night, a resolution was pasaed expressing gratification at the progress of temperance reform, and urging vigilance and unity on temperance workers to help in achieving the great victory soon to be realised. A resolution was also carried unanimously expressing regret at the death of Cardinal Manning, and appreciation or nia great service in the temperance cause.
