Mr Dwyer G-ray, of the Freeman's Journal, Dublin, has renounced his allegiance to Mr Parnell ; but the latter is still accorded support by the paper: William O'Brien has been declared a bankrupt at the suit of the Marquia of Salisbury, he having refused to pay the costß in the libel action O'Brien v. Salisbury, in which a verdict was returned for the defendant with costs. Seeing that he has been virtually deserted by the Freeman's Journal, Mr Parnell threatens to convert the United Ireland, cow a weekly pub"Tlcation, into a daily paper. Notwithstanding that Ml 1 H. J. Atkinson, M.P., has been suspended from attending sittings of the House of Commons for a fortnight, for writing an insulting letter to the Speaker, accusing the latter of altering the terms of his questions, he has tabled a motion of censure on the Speaker.
