Mails close for the following places as : under, Bubjeot to the necessary alters- i tionsi— i Friday, June 12. ! For Otago, per Penguin, at 11 a.m.; ' late fee letters, 11.20 a.m. ; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Greymouth, per Herald, at 12.30 p.m.; late fee letters, 12.45 p.m. ; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. train. Saturday, June 13.* For South America, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (specially addressed correspondence only), per Kaikoura, at 9 a.m. ; registered letters and parcels post parcels at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 12 ; guard's van, 9.55 a.m. train. This mail is due in London on July 25. For Northern Ports, per Rotorua, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m. j guard's van, 9.5 p.m. train. Wednesday, June 17. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America and West Indies (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, &c, &c, and also for northern ports of New Zealand, per Takapuna, as follows :—Ordinary letters, 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; books and newspapers, 7.30 p.m. ; registered letters, 5 p.m. ; money orders, 4 p.m.; guard's van, 9.5 p.m. train. Postage to United Kingdom only reduced to 2£d per half -ounce ; to the United States of America and Canada, 6d per half-ounce ; Continent of Europe, &c, remain as heretofore. This mail will be due in London on July 22.
