* Blacklegs Striking. Shipping Federation. Shipping Boycotted. Another Railway Strike. Trains have been stormed at G-reenock, and the blacklegs are strik* ing because the Directors of the railway Companies refuse to recognise their Union. The effe ct of the strike is moat disastrous to trade, the loss ! already being estimated at half a million. The Shipping Federation are enrolling additional free labourers. The waterside Unions are boycotting the British India, Shaw, Savil), and the New Zealand Shipping Company's vessels. The shipping federation are loading and unloading them. Trouble is brewing in the South. The Clare Eailway men have struck, lEeceived Jan. 2?, at 10. 15 a.m.! The strike is keeping the Australian cruisers in the Clyde. The excitement among the men employed on the Great "Western Company's system of railways, at the refusallto limit their houra to ten per day, ia likely to cauao a strike.
