CRICKET.
THE AUSTBALIAN TEAM. [Special to Pbkbs Association.] [Beceived Jane 20, at 12,10 p.m.] LONDON, Juhe 10. The cricket match, Players v. Australians, began at Lord's to-day. The weather was fine, and the wicket in fair condition. Burn and Charlton are not playing. The Flayers went in first aud have lost three wickets for 158 runs ; the principal scores being — Ulyett 40, Gunn (not out) 45, and Maurice Bead 33. Chatterton was stumped by Blackham. Shrewsbury being ill, his place in the team is taken by Carney. The English press, referring to the recent matches pf the Australians, consider that the team is collapsing.
