The Auckland Hospital.

[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND^Nov. 2S. The Hospital Board have received » telegram from Dr Collins, of Hokitika,* ■who has been appointed Medical Superintendent at Auckland Hospital, stating- that" he has received four telegrams from this city advising him that feeling is strong against the appointment of a Medical Superintendent, that it is opposed by the Medical Assistant, and that, as the-term of office of the present Board expires in a month,.it is-considered doubtful if the new* Board will endorse tho action taken. The Board considered Dr Collins telegram, in Committee.
