The Auckland Volunteers.
[Per Prxsb Association.] AUCKLAND, Mat 22. Captain Hifcchens, of the Waitemata Navals, has asked Colonel Shepherd to make a full enquiry into the recent Volunteer misconduct at the Easter encampment. It is alleged that the cause of want of discipline manifested by the Volunteers at the late Easter encampment is, that all the Companies are now independent o£ each other, whereas, formerly, they were in a division, and subject to command. The change has tended towards disorganisation.
