CONFERENCE OF THE" CHAMBER OF COMMERCE . j Messrs Humphreys, Recce and Chrystall, the Sub-Committee of the Chamber of Commerce appointed to inquire into the alleged delay in the discharging of English ships at Lyttelton, met the following gentlemen at the Chamber of Commerce yesterday :— Mr P. Cunningham (Chairman of the Lyttelton Harbour Board), Mr C. H. Williams (Secretary), Mr Garstin (Railway Traffic Manager), Mr Bennett (representing the New Zealand Shipping Company), Mr Arnold (of Dalgety and Co.), and Mr A. Rose (Collector of Customs).
