Linwood Bicycle Touring Club.

♦ A Committee meeting of the above Club was held at the Club-room on Thursday evening, the Captain (Mr H. Thompson) in the chair. There was a goo 4 attendance. The tour to Oxford, which, was arranged to start on Saturday, Oct. 27, was postponed, owing to the members having to take part in the procession and finals of the One and Three-Mile Bicycle Eaces at the Palace Roller Skating Rink on Saturday evening. It was decided' to encourage road racing by establishing two records, to be called the '•'«. Touring' Chxb Road Records." The fifty-mile toting record is to Leeston and back, via. tha, Wheatsheaf Hotel, staiting and finishing at the Ricearton Hotel. ,It was, also agreed to have a record to Lincoln and back, starting and finishing at the Riccarton Hotel.
