DRAUGHTS.
A friendly game of draughts was played last night in tho orderly-room of the Canterbury Irish Rifle Corps, between eight members of the Corps and a similar number of the employees of tho firm of Toomer Bros. Thero 'was great interest taken in the game, which was won by the Volunteers, who, at its completion, save a hearty round of applause to their visitors. The scores aro as follows : —
