A Vessel Aground.

[Per Press Association.] BLENHEIM, August 10. Some time last night the barque Kate Tatham, from Napier, grounded under the White Bluff. in Cloudy Bay. The river steamer, Kanieri, is helping her off, and the s.s. Waihi is coming up the river from the scene of the accident with further particulars. The Wairau Bar pilot does not report loss or damage. . [LATER.] 12.25 a.m. The Kanieri has left the barque, and gone on to Wellington. She took on board some of the vessel's gear. The barque does not seem to labour heavily. The sea is moderate, and the weather fine. The vessel lies about two and a half miles from the TVairau bar.
