Curing Cancer.
Is cancer curable ? We believe that pra©» tically the whole medical profession sayß— "No J except with the knife." But in "Westland lives the Hungarian Hurwarth, who says "Yes;" and who, as one of oru Westland correspondents told as the othei day, has demonstrated more than ones that he says so truly. A late numbei of a Weßt Coast paper tells -as that the popular belief has received another shock, and that the Hungarian doctor has per formed another cure. If this be reall) true, surely it is time the knowledge possessed by this man were spread 1 amongst his colleagues. It ia not sq many weeks since one of the most vain* able lives was lost to a great nation through -the fatal disease which, it it asserted he can cure. Year by year men die in "hopeless agony from, it, and women - suffer fearful operations to gain relief front the same cruel evil. Dr Hurwarth is reads to explain his treatment to the faculty. W« see no reason why he should not explain it to the world at large. Why need he h* ashamed P It is surely no great blot t« go down to posterity with your name oft high among the Harveys, the Jenners, aad the Pasteurs. •■_■- , ■ ==.' ,' i
