Some time since we published a smaU paragraph on the unsatisfactory nature ol much of the jam retailed in the Colony, This reached Messrs Kirkpatrick and Co., ot Nelson, and they went to work in' a very practical fashion to prove that the jama manufactured by the firm were of the best quality. Two cases of assorted jams were sent to this office, with a request that we would thoroughly test the jam along with other brands, and give our opinion.
