THE EXPEtSS TEAIN STUCK UP. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, August 6. The northern express train did not reach Dunedin to-night. It appears that several slips have taken place about the Purakanui cliffs: In one of these a surfaceman was struck on the head with a falling stone, and seriously injured. In view of this it was not deemed prudent to bring the train farther than "Waitati. A train haa been despatched from Dunedin with a doctor to attend to the injured man. The rain has now (eleven o'clock) changed to a diizzle.
