DUNEDIN, Atjooht 20,

A meeting of Otago members of the Bine Association on Saturday was attended by fifty. Ifc was unanimously resolved that the Counoil be recommended to hold the meeting during the second week in January. By2dtol7it was resolved that the members considered the adoption of the Remington-Lee rifle prejudicial to the interests of rifle Bhootiug in the Colony, as it practically prohibited numerous intending members from the probability of competing, and that the Association Bdould use the weapon with which the Volunteers are armed.
