Lyttelton.

Mr H. Allwright, one of the candidates for the Lyttelton seat, addressed the electors at the Heathcote schoolroom yesterday evening. Mr A. Joyce, was elected Chairman, and introduced the speaker. Mr Allwright then delivered an address somewhat similar to that delivered at Lyttelton last week. The address lasted about an hour, and at the conclusion, Mr J. Stinson moved, and Mr D. Dimond seconded, a vote of thanks to Mr Allwright for his address. There being no objectors, the motion was declared to be carried, and the meeting terminated with cheers for Mr Joyce and groans for Mr Allwright.
