In order to furnish the numerous readers of the Cantcrhiry Times with a comprehenBive account of the Jubilee celebrations and holiday festivities, the proprietors of that popular weekly have determined to issue a forty-eigh.t page edition to-morrow. An advance copy of the paper is now before us, and we have no hesitation in pronouncing it to be one of the very best efforts made by our enterprising contemporary. The Jubilee matter is exceptionally well written, and deals with all the important incidents of the holiday week. The other departments are maintained at their usual high standard, and special articles on literature, agriculture, social topics, sport, &c, the continuation of new novels, and an interesting mail budget make iip a paper which, perhaps, has never previously been equalled in the Colony. As a memento of tho happy event we have recently been celebrating, the current number of the Canter" lury Times is unequalled, and will present a lnosb pleasing indication of the Colony's general and journalistic progress to Homo and Colonial readers.
