WORKING MEN'S CLUB.
The Christmas festival did not pass unnoticed at the Working Men's Club. On Christmas Eve the front of the Club rooms was illuminated by a number of Chinese lanterns, which had a very pretty eifect. The large hall and several of the rooms were festooned with coloured paper and evergreens, giving a festive appearance to tho whole. A-social gathering of the members was held, and the evening passed pleasantly with vocal and instrumental selections. •
