PHILLIPSTOWN.

The festival of Christmas was celebrated with all honour at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Phillipstown, which was decorated in" a nainer novel but effective. The main feature of the adornment was a set of the symbols of tho twelve apostles arranged around the walls. The services began with a celebration of the Holy Communion at 8 a.m. yesterday. At 10 a.m. choral matinß were held, and at the conclusion the Communion was again administered. Both services were conducted by the Rev H. J. Congdon Gilbert, who preached from Isaiah ix chap., 6: "Unto us a Child is born."
