EMPLOYMENT OF FEMALES ACT.
INVERCARGILL, Dec. 22. Price and Bulleid, drapers, were fined £5 and costs for employing two girls after hours in breach of the Employment of Pemales Act. The Magistrate said the penalty was made light because this was the first case of the kind here.
