CANTERBURY ROWING CLUB.
j President's Cup. The annual raca for this trophy came off last evening, over the usual two-mile course, from Wright's to the Willows. There was not much excitement over the ; event, owing probably to the unusual hours at which the race was held. Although both crews have had considerable practice, i neither showed particularly good form, the rowing on the -whole not being up to the usual standard. Results : — Tyne— A. C. Nottingham, bow ;P.
