LONDON, July 14.
Mr Cornwall, Secretary of the Irish Post-office, has "been arrested, with a number of others, on charges of having committed very serious crimes. [According to our latest mail files, a Commission had been appointed to enquire into these charges, and the arrests, we presume, are the outcome of the Commission's labours.] The death is announced of the Right Eev P. Jacobson, Bishop of Chester, aged 81.
