The Oity Solicitor has resigned his office, on the ground, it was understood, that certain correspondence was published by officers of the Corporation in a way which he deems disiogonuous and calculated to reflect unjustly upon his performance of his official duties as legal adviser to the Corporation, by conveying an erroneous impression as to what really took place.
