The Unemployed Question.

In consequence of the largs number of men atpressnt in want of employment in this oity, his Worship the Mayor telegraphed to the Hon W. Bolleston, representing the urgent need for some measures being take* to provide work, and speoially pointing out that many of the men unemployed had families dependent on them. A reply has been received from Mr Bolleston, stating that he would confer with the Minister for Publio Works on the subjeot, and send the result as soon as possible.
