Sergeant Pratt applied toe a remand, as all the neoessary evidenoe had not yet beea oolleoted, though both the ooats had been identified. Prisoner admitted having stolen the waterproof from Ballantyne's, but denied the seoond oharge. He was remanded to the following day. Liobnsing Aot.—Mr Loughrey applied to tho Benoh under section 116 of the Lioensing Aot, 1881, that Mrs Berti might be registered as the owner of the British Hotel. The re* quired order was made.
