DDNEDIN, July 20. A letter from the Dnnedin Sohoel Committee, regarding the alleged insufficiency of funds allocated for the purpose of repairing sohool property f was read at yesterday's meeting of the Education Board. It provoked a lengthy and lively discussion. It was eventually decided that should the Committee deoline to utdertake the neoessary works in oonneotion with the sohools or teaohers' residences, the Bo»rd would step in and do the work, deduotingthe oost from the Sohool Committee allowance.
