AN INDEMNITY BILL. WELLINGTON, July 20. She Select Committee on Otago Dummyiam report that it is useless proceeding with tho enquiry .unless a Bill is passed giving indemnity to witnesses who might incrimisate themselves. On the report feeing brought up to-day by Mr Pyke, the Hon W. Bolleston forthwith asked leave to introduce the required Bill without notice, stating that ho would ask to have "it passed through all its stages on Tuesday. The Bill was introduced anil read a first time.
