Db Ton Haabt's bbfobt on the Museum and the result of its opening en Sundays it very satiif actory. No one who has visited the Museum on Sunday can fait to be struck by the orderly behaviour of the visitors, who are educating themselves by a visit to this noble institution. But lo maintain suoh a Museum in its present state cf fffioienoy, and to add to it what it requires, involvfs a considerable annual expenditure. Wo fanoy that Dr Von Haait must have found hit treasury of moa bones less productive than it vied to be. Moa bones last a long time, and when a foreign must-urn has obtained a sufficient supply of specimens it wiil not want any more, and it will consequently not care to exchange its duplicates without receiving some equivalent for tbem.
