The Bix days go-as-you-please walking tournament finished on Saturday, with some excitement, Baker and Swan being very close. The former, who soon recovered from the effects of the drugged beer administered to him, won with 307 miles one lap. Swan walkod 306 miles ten laps ; Seymour, of Sydney, 280 miles two laps ; and Harris, of Melbourne, 248 mileß. The prizes were 50, 30, 15, and 5 guineas, besides a share of the gate money.
