Breach of the Peace. — David Scott was charged with committing a breach of the peace within view of a constable. He admitted the charge. Tho row had taken place at the Golden Ago Hotel, where a window of tho bar had been smashed. The damage was ostimated at 10s. Prisoner said he had arranged with a glazier to repair tho damage. He was fined 10a.

Unlawfully Wounding.— Charles Johnston was charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding W. 0. Shoppard, also with similarly wounding William Henry Conlan. Accused said that he had beon wounded and not tho prosecutors. Sergeant Morice aßked for a remand for tho production of witnesses. Tho cases were remanded till Friday next, accused being admitted to bail, himself in £50 and two sureties in £25 each.

Buholahiously Entering. —James Robineon, Matthew M'Callum, and Robert Jameson were charged with burglariously entering the dwelling-house of Hubert Medley, alao with similarly entering the dwelling-house of Samuel Stewart. On tho application of Sergeant Morice, who stated that five gold watches and a gold brooch had been stolen from Mr Stewart's, and that the prisoners had been found sleeping in an outhouse on tho premises of Mr Medley, the watches and brooch being found concealed near whero the accused were lying, obtained a remand till Monday for the production of furthor evidence. Ho eaid that another peraon would probably be implicated. The accused made statements of an exculpatory nature, but were told to reserve their defence till Monday.
