CHIARINI'S CIRCUS.
■ » There wero excellent "houses" at Chiarini's circus on Saturday afternoon and evening, when Ilia programmos woro similar to some which had previously been given. Signor Chiarini exhibited tho effects of liis training upon 4wo beautiful horses, which went through a variety of cierciaes in a moat docile manner. During tho vaulting in tho "French Traiupolin" on accident happened to Mr llolloway, by which he severely sprained his ankle, and was prevented from appearing as clown in the later portion of tho entertainment. This week is announced as the last of tho circus boing exhibited in Christchurch, and this evening there will ho another change of programme, ono of tho it«ms of whioh will bo the riding of tho bison by Mr Warner. Tho huanaco will also bo oxhibited in tho ring, and Signor Chiarini will introduce his battle korso Monto ChrUto.
