SUMNER.

An entertainment in aid of the Church Choir was given m the Schoolroom last Friday, by Mr Seager, who fully sustained his reputation as the Wizard of the South, and caused a great deal of astonishment and umusement by his clever feats of legerdemain. A -selection of vocal and instrumental music was also given by Mrs .Duckworth, the Misses Miles and Clarke, assisted by Messrs Hobba, Wiggins, and G. Merton. At the close of the entertainment, the Bey 0. Merton proposed a rote of thanks to Mr Seager for his kindnosa in coming so great a distance in order to aftord so much pleasure, which was carried unanimously with oheers.
