CANCELLATION OP APPOINTMENT OF STAFF.
™ ™. • March 6, 1879. 14. "The Chairman said he dosired to read two telegrams to the Board. On Fob. 28 he had received the following telegram from the Colonial Secretary :—' 232. Notice has been given to medical staff that his Excellency will be advisod to cancel the appointments in four months from date, so as to enable new staff to begin duty on July 1. Meanwhile your Board can advertise and prepare for staff. Copy of Dr Turnbull's shall be sent as requested in your telegram of to-day .' On March 3 ho had also received this telegram from Colonel Whitmore:— '238. At requeß*t of Board, and also of medical staff, shall adviee Governor to cancel appointments to staff. 1 " ' - : r
