WANGANUI.
[SPECIAL.] August 27. Sir W. Fox has now addressed three meet-; ings in Wanganui electorate. At -Wanganui; ano confidence amendment was carried by 250 to 40; at Waverley a motion''of'confidence was carried, the Chairman refusing to permit any amendment; at Waitotara a motion of confidence was declared lost by one vote. Mr Ballance addressed four meetings, viz., at Wanganui, Waverley, Waitotara, and Maxwell. Votes of confidence were carriod in each place by a large majority.
